Thornton Fractional South boys basketball pulled away early and never looked back, defeating Reavis 65–30 in a South Suburban Conference matchup.
According to the match report, the Red Wolves established their dominance early with pressure defense and balanced scoring. They controlled both ends of the floor, forcing turnovers and converting them into transition points while limiting Reavis to just 30 points. The team made 26 field goals, recorded 13 assists, and out-rebounded the Rams 35–21. Defensively, they collected 17 steals and four blocks, disrupting Reavis’ offensive rhythm throughout the game.
Senior Jadyn Raggs led the scoring with 16 points on efficient shooting. Junior Amari Dukes contributed 13 points and four steals. O. Cross Jr. achieved a double-double with 10 rebounds and 10 points, while Tim Adenrele added eight rebounds and four blocks to strengthen the interior defense. The Red Wolves also successfully made eight three-pointers and converted all five of their free-throw attempts.
Looking ahead, Thornton Fractional South is set to host Thornton Fractional North on February 10 at 6:30 p.m. In their previous encounter on February 11 last year, the Red Wolves narrowly lost a close road decision with a score of 56–54 at Thornton Fractional North.
