T.F. South High School’s boys bowling team is set to begin the year with a legacy of winning traditions, underscored by multiple eras of sustained success under the guidance of longtime head coach Eric Valiska.
According to available records, the Red Wolves’ schedule commences with early-season matches that offer the team an opportunity to establish rhythm, adapt to lane conditions, and build lineup consistency across all series. T.F. South boasts a history of strong performance, including a school total of 89 wins and 53 losses over nine recorded seasons—a .627 winning percentage that underscores the program’s competitive pedigree.
Valiska’s leadership has been pivotal in maintaining this success. He led T.F. South to a 67–27 record over six seasons (.713), achieving multiple sectional qualifications and several double-digit win seasons such as 13–2 (2013–14), 14–3 (2014–15), and 12–4 (2012–13). After a brief period under coach Matt Cherry, who recorded an 11–20 record over two years, Valiska returned to helm the program, adding another successful season with an 11–6 record.
With a robust historical record and a coach known for consistent winning seasons, the Red Wolves are poised to compete confidently as they embark on another promising campaign.
