The Thornton Fractional South dance team delivered a championship performance, sweeping the top spots in both the AAA Hip-Hop and AAA Pom divisions to highlight a dominant day of competition and showcase the program’s depth, precision and energy.
According to reports from the event held on January 24 at Phoenix Military Academy, the Red Wolves earned first place in both categories. This victory continued a strong season marked by consistency, execution, and competitive excellence against a talented field of schools. TF South impressed judges with sharp timing, clean transitions, and powerful choreography in both routines. The hip-hop performance featured explosive movement and musicality, while the pom routine emphasized synchronization, technical difficulty, and polished visual presentation.
Winning both AAA divisions in the same event underscored the versatility of the Red Wolves. They excelled across contrasting styles that demand different strengths, from high-energy athleticism to precise formation work. The results also highlighted the team’s focus and discipline—qualities that have become trademarks of their program.
With the season continuing, TF South will look to build on this momentum as they prepare for upcoming meets. They aim to carry their championship standard into the remainder of their schedule.
