Thornton Fractional South celebrated Senior Night with a decisive victory over Eisenhower, winning 25-9, 25-23 in a home match on Tuesday evening.
The event took place at TF South High School in Lansing on October 14, where the Red Wolves honored their graduating seniors before the match began.
According to the team’s performance, senior leaders played a crucial role in powering the offense throughout the game. Eriche Hill delivered five kills, demonstrating her skill and strength at the net. Layla Smith contributed eight kills and four aces, leading TF South’s balanced attack. The Red Wolves dominated the first set with strong serving runs and managed to fend off a late rally by Eisenhower in the second set to secure their straight-set win. The evening was a celebration of leadership, teamwork, and the seniors’ lasting impact on the program.
TF South is scheduled to travel to Hillcrest on October 16 for a 5:30 p.m. matchup as they aim to maintain their momentum into the final stretch of South Suburban Conference play.
In their previous encounter this season, TF South also defeated Eisenhower in straight sets, winning 25-11, 25-17, continuing their dominance over the Cardinals.
