Thornton Fractional South was defeated by St. Laurence with scores of 25-19, 25-19 on Tuesday night in the Class 3A regional semifinal held at St. Laurence High School in Burbank.
According to the match details, the Red Wolves exhibited grit and determination throughout, challenging the Vikings in every set and matching their energy point for point. Earehc’ Hill led the offense with five kills and two aces, while setter Candace Irvin maintained a steady attack with 10 assists. Nina Robinson contributed two aces, helping Thornton Fractional South stay competitive in both sets. Despite the loss, the Red Wolves demonstrated teamwork and effort that resulted in an 18-14 overall record and an 8-5 conference mark this season.
Thornton Fractional South’s season concluded after a strong closing stretch that included four consecutive wins leading up to Tuesday’s contest.
