The Thornton Fractional South boys’ bowling team is set to commence the 2025–26 season with aspirations of making a significant impact in the South Suburban Conference and beyond.

According to the team’s schedule, the Red Wolves will open their season with a home match against Reavis on November 10. This will be followed by a busy itinerary that includes trips to Argo, Rich Township, and participation in the T.F. North Invitational on November 15. Early home matches against Bloom Township and Shepard are expected to help the Red Wolves develop team chemistry and gain momentum before key conference matchups.

November’s schedule also features trips to Lincoln-Way Central, Richards, and Eisenhower, providing tests for the team in both home and away settings. December brings further challenges with contests against Lemont, T.F. North, Tinley Park, Bremen, Evergreen Park, and participation in the Titan Invite. These matchups offer opportunities for the team to showcase their skills and adaptability across different lanes and tournament formats.

As they enter 2026, the Red Wolves will host Oak Lawn and travel to Oak Forest as preparation for the SSC Blue Conference Tournament on January 10. The postseason will include IHSA Regionals on January 17, Sectionals on January 24, culminating in the State Finals at St. Clair Bowl on January 30–31. With a mix of returning talent and new additions, Thornton Fractional South aims to compete at a high level and make a deep postseason run.
