The Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves dance team is preparing for the 2025–26 season, which promises a series of high-energy performances and significant competitions throughout Illinois.

According to the team’s schedule, the Red Wolves will commence their campaign on December 6 at the Gardner-South Wilmington Invitational. Following this, they will participate in one of the season’s largest early showcases in Freeport on January 4.

These initial meets are expected to provide Thornton Fractional South (TF South) with opportunities to refine their routines and gain momentum as they approach the conference and state circuit.

Midseason competition intensifies on January 16 at the South Suburban Conference (SSC) Dance Competition hosted by Oak Forest High School. The Red Wolves will compete against familiar rivals with aspirations of securing top conference honors. Subsequently, they will attend the Phoenix Military Invite on January 18, serving as a crucial preparation before entering the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) postseason.

The team is scheduled to compete in the IHSA Sectional on January 24, aiming to advance to the IHSA State Finals at Grossinger Motors Arena on January 30–31. They plan to conclude their season at the Illinois Drill Team Association (IDTA) State Finals on February 14 in Springfield.
