The Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves emerged victorious over the Hammond Morton Governors with a score of 60–52 in a non-conference boys basketball game on Saturday, December 13, 2025.
The game was held at Thornton Fractional South High School in Lansing, Illinois. The Red Wolves hosted the Governors in what proved to be a competitive contest. According to reports, Thornton Fractional South demonstrated balance on both ends of the floor, combining timely baskets and defensive pressure to maintain their lead late into the game. Despite Hammond Morton’s efforts to stay within striking distance by forcing turnovers and challenging shots, they were unable to surpass the Red Wolves’ offense.
Looking ahead, Hammond Morton is scheduled to travel to face Chesterton on December 19, 2025, as part of its regular season schedule.
