The Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves faced a challenging game on Friday night, ultimately losing 31-12 to Thornton Fractional North in Calumet City. Despite the defeat, T.F. South’s offense demonstrated potential, led by senior Jerry Ward and junior quarterback Amari Dukes.
According to the game details from October 17, 2025, at T.F. North High School, the Red Wolves exhibited determination on both offense and defense. Ward was a key player offensively, rushing for 85 yards on 13 carries and scoring two touchdowns. Dukes contributed with 70 passing yards, connecting with six different receivers. Among them was senior Adam Aljoe, who made two significant receptions totaling 32 yards. Sophomore quarterback Joe Winkiewicz also played a role with a perfect pass for 23 yards.
Defensively, seniors Julius McDavis and Lamari Hall were pivotal in maintaining pressure on T.F. North’s offense throughout the game. Despite facing a formidable opponent, the Red Wolves continued to fight hard, executing strong special teams play and hinting at future promise for the program.
