The Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves wrestling team is preparing for a rigorous 2025–26 season, featuring numerous conference challenges, invitationals, and postseason events. The team aims to establish itself as a formidable contender within the South Suburban Conference.

The Red Wolves will commence their season at home on November 25 against Leo and Lindblom. They will then travel to T.F. North on December 2 for an early competitive test.

According to the team’s schedule, December presents a challenging series of matches. These include home meets against Argo, Lemont, and Reavis, as well as away contests against Eisenhower, Richards, Hillcrest, and Bremen. The team is also set to participate in significant tournaments such as the Hinsdale South Invitational on December 6 and the Rich Township Invite on December 20.

In January, the team will compete in the Ed Ewolt Classic hosted by Wheaton Warrenville South. They will face Oak Lawn, Reavis, and Bremen before concluding their regular season at the SSC Blue Conference Meet on January 24.

The postseason is scheduled to begin on January 31 with Regionals. This will be followed by Sectionals and the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) State Finals in Champaign from February 19–21. The Red Wolves aim to finish their season strongly at the IHSA Team State Tournament in late February.
