The Running Red Wolves participated in the highly competitive Lockport 3A regional meet on a crisp, sunny Saturday morning, October 26, 2024, at the Lockport High School East campus.
This event marked the culmination of their season. Unfortunately, their journey has come to an end. The Red Wolves secured 10th place out of 12 teams, narrowly missing the cutoff for advancement.
The top six schools earned a coveted spot in the Bloomington Sectional. Here are the individual results, showcasing the athletes' skills and progress: Princeton Harb, a sophomore, achieved 60th place with a time of 18:55, setting a new personal record.
Ricky Budlove, also a sophomore, closely followed in 61st place with a time of 18:57.
Julius Navarro, a sophomore, secured 67th place with a time of 19:32. Evan Krueger, another sophomore, achieved 68th place, setting a new personal record with a time of 19:39.
Rodrigo Cortez, a senior, finished in 69th place with a time of 19:40. Ben Gresham, a senior, concluded the race in 72nd place with a time of 19:56.
